On Wednesday, 1st February 2017 Coquis - Ateneo Italiano della Cucina (Rome, Italy) hosted the participants of the culinary contest, they were challenged to win the scholarships sponsored by Mareno.
Aspiring chefs submitted recipes rich in flavour, colour, originality, creativity and talent.
In the jury Gianluca Pacella (journalist Agribusiness News), Massimo Santin (Mareno Ali), Angelo Troiani (starred chef of Convivio and Educational Director of Coquis), Tiziana Belocchi (Director of Coquis) and Mario Longo (journalist of La Repubblica) evaluated the dishes and finally proclaiming two winners.
Gabriele Grassi won a scholarship for the "starter course to the chef profession”, while Alessandro Izzo won a scholarship for the "course of professional kitchen".
